So John and I hit the town again this past Sunday for more prelimanary house hunting. We're just getting a feel for where we want to live and what neighborhoods will give us the most bang for our buck. This weekend was my number "1" choice as far as neighborhoods are concerned....Kessler Park....ahhhh.....like an oasis in the city....an historical oasis. Is there such a thing? Anyhoo Kessler Park, basically the homes that we can BARLEY afford would need work and IF we bought a home there...there is no room and by room I mean MONEY to do any work/ The homes were great, I would give my first born niece for the home we looked at on Kessler Parkway,.... but I will have to settle for another neighborhood for now.

First House Hunting Trip - May 17th, 2009

John and I are in the preliminary stages of house hunting. We have a couple of different neighborhoods we know for sure we want to look in to. We want to move further south. My is Kessler Park. Too bad we don't have Kessler Park money. John's first pick is Deep Ellum. Too bad I don't feel like being robbed everyday I get off of work. So we have compromised somewhere in the middle. The first couple of properties we looked at this past weekend were in the East Dallas Area,right off of 75 and Lemmon. (75204) I like to call this the other "West Village" since most of the developments are located on the opposite side of the freeway from the more pricier West Village Neighborhood. It's up and coming....we found some interesting properties. Take a look.
